The mission of the program is to provide Alabama’s low and moderate-income families with equal access to affordable and quality child care services as they participate in work, educational or training activities.

HISTORY
The Office of Child Care Subsidy administers the subsidized child care program funded through the Child Care and Development Fund.
You may be eligible for services if you are making your home in Alabama and are employed and/or enrolled in school/training and making no more income than is allowable. Counties served: Blount, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Walker.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Monday – Friday: 8am – 4:30pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
